Sarasota, FL:  City of Sarasota administrative offices will be closed Monday, July 4, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.  

There will be no residential garbage, recycling or yard waste pickup on Monday. The following pickups will be delayed by one day: Monday collection will occur on Tuesday, and Tuesday collection will occur on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday collection will not be interrupted.

Hours of operation at recreation and cultural arts facilities for July 4 are as follows:

• Arlington Park and Aquatic Complex, 2650 Waldemere St., will be closed. 

• Lido Pool, 400 Benjamin Franklin Drive, will be closed. 
  
  
• Nature Trails at Bobby Jones Golf Club, 1000 Circus Blvd., are temporarily closed. Golf courses are closed until early 2022.
  
  
• Payne Park Tennis Center, 2050 Adams Lane, will be closed.
  
  
• Robert L. Taylor Community Complex, 1845 34^th St., will be closed.
  
  
• Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, 777 N. Tamiami Trail – The box office will be closed.

The City is co-sponsoring the 37^th annual P1 Offshore Sarasota Grand Prix scheduled for July 1-3 along Lido Beach, as well as the Bayfront Fireworks Spectacular at 9 p.m. on July 4.
